"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" may feature the death of Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) through a guillotine.

According to Master Herald, there are rumors suggesting Captain Jack Sparrow will face a major death threat under a guillotine. However, knowing the character's history with death, there is a chance that he will escape it once again.

A teaser clip for the upcoming Disney movie also showed the character being chased by British soldiers. Later on, he was captured by the men and was placed in the guillotine. Fans who saw the clip are now wondering whether or not this could finally be Captain Jack Sparrow's demise.

Disney previously released the official synopsis for "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dean Men Tell No Tales" and hinted on the possibility of killing off the character. However, the production company also said that his death does not mean he will no longer exist.

Meanwhile, a leaked video from the set of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" recently showed the fake skeletal remains of a whale that is being built for the film. The clip, which was posted on Youtube, did not feature any of the cast members.

According to IB Times, the production for the set of the film began on Tuesday. The special skeletal remains of the whale is said to have been built using coated polystyrene material. The set is set to be completed on Friday.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men No Tales" is slated for release in the United States on Jul. 7, 2017.
