With Colin Trevorrow's "Jurassic World" dominating the box office, the artwork for Michael Giacchino's film soundtrack has been recently revealed.
The initial vinyl pressing of Giacchino's soundtrack has been announced by Mondo. The soundtrack will be accessible on Black Vinyl and its online exclusive version is pressed on 180 gram translucent Green Vinyl, which has a blue stripe in recognition of the Velociraptor Blue.
Last year, Mondo made a surge on the vinyl press of Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park," as per Cinema Blend. Recently, the media company also shared three pieces of artwork, which includes the album's access, front cover, and back cover.
The gate shows three Velociraptors and the Indominus rex in the woods, along with a man riding a motorcycle. The front cover features a water-filled foot print of the Indominus rex. The water shows the reflection of two people and the moon.
The back cover contains the film title and the list of Giacchino's original soundtrack, which is presented in four sides - Side A, Side B, Side C, and Side D. All entries but track seven run from one to six minutes. Track seven, which is entitled "Indominus Wrecks," runs for more than six minutes. A Velociraptor in the woods serves as the cover's background.
The Indominus rex's rampage wrecked the fully-functional "Jurassic World," the theme park bought by Marsani Corporation's CEO Simon Masrani, and this influences the flow of the events and the characters' actions in the film.
Trevorrow's "Jurassic World" stands as the fourth installment of the "Jurassic Park" franchise and is set 22 years after the events in Isla Nublar in Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park" in 1993.
"Jurassic World" stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Judy Greer, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, Brian Tee, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Wong, among others.
