According to the Sunday Express, Freeman will be playing the role of British Prime Minister Edward Chase. He will be the one responsible for putting things back in order after the Avengers caused collateral damage.

However, it seems that there is so much to Freeman's character than meets the eye. According to Fashion N Style, fans are speculating that Edward was the recipient of the call from Andy Serkis' character Klaw. In "Avengers: Age of Ultron," Klaw could be heard saying "Prime Minister."

Additionally, it is common knowledge that Klaw manufactured the Vibranium, an element that is known for disrupting superhero powers. With this, fans are suggesting that Klaw and Edward could be working together. After all, Edward wants to "fix" what the Avengers destroyed.

Meanwhile, in the comic books, it was revealed that Iron Man or Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America or Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) need to register under the Superhero Registration Act under the United States government. From this, the events in "Captain America: Civil War" will unfold.

At one point, the Avengers will be divided into two teams, one under Tony and the other one under Steve. Still, considering all superhero films in the past, it is already guaranteed that "Captain America: Civil War" will reunite all of the members of the Avengers towards the end of the film.

"Captain America: Civil War" also stars Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Jeremy Renner as Hawk Eye, Tom Holland as Spider-Man and more.
