Within just a couple of weeks since its launch, “Fallout Shelter” has beat a number of games and reached the #1 spot at the App Store, becoming the most downloaded game in 48 countries and top downloaded app in 25 countries. Here are a few “Fallout Shelter” cheats, tips and tricks to help the players level up faster.

How to earn more caps and lunchboxes?

There are two glitches in the game that could be tricked to earn more number of caps, lunchboxes, outfits and even weapons.

Cheat #1:

“Fallout Shelter” players have discovered a small glitch that can be exploited to earn a number lunchboxes and caps, just as the player starts a new Vault. In the Tutorial mode, that pops up when the game begins, players will be required to complete 3 objectives, usually "Equip a Dweller with an outfit," "Sell 1 weapon or outfit," and "Collect 50 food." The players without completing the first two objectives, should redeem rewards for the third objective, usually "Collect 20 food," "Collect 50 water," and "Level up a Dweller." Cycling between the different third objectives, will allow the players to stock up as many as caps and lunchboxes, according to Game Informer.

Cheat #2:

“Fallout Shelter” has a number of timed events for the dwellers like exploring on the Wastelands, building Vault Rooms, adding training rooms, etc. Players will have to equip strong dwellers with proper gears and send them out on exploring or any other timed events. After that, close the game completely, and then change the time in the device settings. Set the time and date manually, to around a day ahead.

Now, players can return to their vault and check on all the completed tasks, new items and collect caps and lunchboxes. Do remember to check on the Dwellers and revive the fallen ones. Quit from the game completely again and set the device’s time and date back to normal and continue playing the game. Gamers can repeat this process how many ever times required to collect a number of caps, lunchboxes, outfits and weapons, Heavy reported.

“Fallout Shelter” received its first “Fallout 4” character Preston Garvey, along with his laser musket. Preston is listed as a Legendary Dweller, to be available randomly in the lunchboxes.
