After leaving Tottenham Hotspur, Brazilian midfielder Paulinho joined China's Guangzhou Evergrande, signing a four-year deal for 14 million euros.
In a tweet, Paulinho shared: "I'd like to thank Tottenham and all the supporters who welcomed me very well during those two years in England. I will always cheer for Spurs."
The 26-year-old player was with Spurs from Corinthians in 2013, but failed to make an impact as he lost his first-team place last season under Mauricio Pochettino.
The former Corinthians player had 32 caps for Brazil, costing Spurs around 17 million pounds. He made 30 appearances under Pochettino.
Guangzhou Evergrande is currently managed by Luiz Felipe Scolari, a former Brazilian coach. The team is also the defending Chinese Super League champion.
With him entering the Chinese club, Paulinho will be lined up alongside his compatriots Elkeson, Alan and Ricardo Goulart.
Former Manchester City striker Robinho is also expected to join the Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande, Skysports revealed.
Meanwhile, media has reported that Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne will be joining Liverpool as Brendan Rodgers continues to revitalize his team prior to the new season.
The 24-year-old baller has come back from a holiday. Before the 12.5 million pounds worth of deal was completed, he underwent a medical assessment. Should he pass the assessment, Clyne will be Liverpool's sixth pre-season signing.
However, despite the coming of players, Rodgers is expected to spend less than what he shelled out a year ago, which is worth 110 million pounds.
In related news, French midfielder Etienne Capoue is also in talks with the newly promoted Watforted, who also had earlier plans signing Paulinho.
