Xiaomi Mi 5 release date rumors indicate that the flagship smartphone will arrive in November replacing the Xiaomi Mi 4 that was released in August last year. Rumored specs indicate that it will be a very promising high-end flagship.

Xiaomi Mi 5 will be featuring a Quad HD screen of 5.3-inch. Producing a pixel count of 554 ppi, the display will deliver a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, Mobi Picker reported.

Rumor has it that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will come with the Snapdragon 820 chipset that comprises of a 64-bit custom ARMv8 Kyro processor. The CPU is capable of delivering a mindboggling processing speed of up to 3.0 GHz, Phone Arena reported. However, the clocking speed of the processor present inside the Mi 5 is not available yet. As of this writing, Qualcomm has not listed the chipset will be supported by 4 GB of RAM.

The native storage options that will arrive with the Xiaomi Mi 5 are 16 GB and 64 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 4 did not feature a microSD slot. As far as external storage of Xiaomi Mi 5, there is no confirmed information available on it.  It will be shipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop onboard. The exact version of the MIUI software is not known yet.

The primary camera on the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be of 16 MP and the one present the front-facing camera will be of 6 MP. For robust security, the device will come enabled with fingerprint scanner and it will be packed with a battery of 3,030 mAh capacity.

As of this writing, the exact November release date is not known yet. Also, there is no information available yet on its pricing and availability.
