Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2's latest title is slated to become the best of "Naruto Shippuden" title to date. This goes beyond what the developers plan for the gameplay and overall approach to the franchise as the preorder offer alone makes "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" worthy of the hype.

The new details and first glimpse of what's inside the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" have been released by Bandai Namco. Some of the items featured in the collection include a Storm Memories artbook, a metal-plate illustration, a 17 cm figurine of Naruto Uzumaki and the copy of the game, all of which are packed in the collector's box, IGN reported.

The newly revealed characters, which included Gaara, Might Guy, Naruto's son Boruto and Sasuke's daughter Sarada are just the icing on top of the cake. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe's Herve Hoerdt revealed that there are more never-before-seen playable characters will be announced over the coming months.

"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" introduces quite a few new features, one of which is the leader-change system. This is a new feature which CyberConnect 2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama has touted in a new video, Siliconera reported.

Hiroshi expounded that the new system allows players to shift among the members of one's party easily even in the midst of combos. Of course, this does not mean that the switching can be done every so often, as there is a period between uses, but the developer has yet to explore and explain how this will work in the game.

The effect of some power-ups and damages can actually be seen in the effects in the gameplay. Hiroshi gave the example of flames staying on the character to show the burning effect that occurs. This is one way to make good use of the leader-change system, as switching between a fresh character and a currently damage-incurring character can eliminate the damage of the attack.

CyberConnect 2 has yet to announce any release dates for the title. As of now, "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is slated for an autumn release this year on next-gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One and also the PC.
