Moto G 2015 is expected to pack Quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory space, similar the Moto G (2014). The device will run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, out of the box, and will support 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and HSPA.

In terms of camera, the new smartphone will sport a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. The upcoming Moto G, with a model name - XT1543 and codename - Osprey, is speculated to feature a 5-inch IPS LCD display screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection.

Earlier reports suggest a launch in July around 10 months since the launch of Moto G 2014, as per the Motorola's traditional launch cycle. Motorola Mobility's CEO Rick Osterloh said that the company will try to maintain the same launch cycle in response to a fan asking when to expect the new device, suggesting the much awaited Moto G 2015 release in July.

However, the new device is now speculated to debut at the IFA, alongside the new products launched by other companies, according to PC Advisor.

Motorola is expected to fix a price tag of under $179, at the time of Moto G 2015 release, similar to its predecessor. Nevertheless, it's better to take these reports with a pinch of salt, as the company is yet to officially confirm the device.
