Theo James and Shailene Woodley
Theo James is reportedly having problems with girlfriend Ruth Kearney because of his “Divergent: Allegiant” co-star Shailene Woodley. It was said that the couple are on the brink of ending their relationship after he publicly declared his admiration for the actress.
According to Venture Capital Post, James made Kearney furious when he admitted that he was turned on by Woodley's long legs. He added that he also find women who are comfortable with their own skin, like Woodley, attractive. This statement allegedly did not sit well with his girlfriend and the two had a huge fight. Kearney reportedly accused James of falling in love with his onscreen partner.
In the second movie in the "Divergent" franchise, "Insurgent," their characters Tris (Woodley) and Four (James) had several intimate scenes together. Several fans noticed that they had an undeniable chemistry which caused many to speculate that the two are seeing each other behind Kearney's back.
Meanwhile, in interview with People, Woodley's co-star Ansel Elgort shared that he enjoyed working with her because he considers her as one of the best actresses in Hollywood. He added that without Woodley, the franchise would not be a blockbuster hit.
When asked if he ever thought of asking Woodley out on a date, Elgort said that he did not think of her that way. He added that it was awkward to do "Fault in Our Stars" after they played as siblings in the first "Divergent" movie. The 23-year-old actor shared that he never wanted Woodley sexually, adding that their relationship is purely platonic.
