With Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" coming to theaters next year, the director has revealed that fans will get to see "X-Men" costumes that are parallel to the comic books.

In Singer's interview with Yahoo, the director said that the titular superhero team will be seen in their traditional colored costumes in "X-Men: Apocalypse," as opposed to the dark leather uniforms the characters wore in "X-Men: First Class. For the director, this is something that he wants to do in the film and he added that he plots to do in a faithful manner.

At this point, it is assumed that the X-Men will don costumes with high loyalty to the comic books, just like Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool costume, according to Cinema Blend.

Previously, Singer has already teased photos of his cast wearing some of the characters' costumes, which includes Lana Condor wearing Jubilee's iconic yellow coat and Olivia Munn's tight Psylocke costume. Oscar Isaac, who is playing titular supervillain Apocalypse, was also reported to don a suit that mirrors the one in the comic books.

Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" serves as the final installment of the "X-Men: First Class" film series. Along with Condor, Munn, and Isaac, "X-Men: Apocalypse" stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence Nicholas Hoult, Lucas Till, Hugh Jackman, Ben Hardy, Rose Byrne, Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, and Tye Sheridan, among others.

Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to premiere in theaters on May 27, 2016 while Tim Miller's "Deadpool" is set to hit the big screen on Feb. 12, 2016.
