Rumors claimed that Apple may completely discontinue the production of iPad Air 3 as it will be replaced by iPad Pro.

A recent rumor stated that Apple wants to put its full concentration into its flagship tablet, which is iPad Pro, according to The Latino Post. This rumor was strengthened by the fact that Apple's supplier Foxconn got the orders to produce the 12.9-inch iPad Pro only.

In addition, the iPad Mini 4 is still under development and it is further rumored that this iPad Mini version will be last tiny tablet that Apple will manufacture, according to The Cult of Mac. Since Apple is only concentrating on big tablets, the production of small and medium sized tablets is completely out of question, at least for the time being.

Another proof which supports this rumor is the fact that Apple is trying to capture the full attention of its customers for its iPad Pro series. In order to do so, the tech giant is planning to remove all other tablets from the table for now. This is being done with the intention that iPad Pro dominates the entire market.

iPad Mini 3 did not sport many upgraded features and it did not do so well in the market. This showed the half-heartedness of Apple towards the device.

iPad Pro is scheduled to release this year and will be the biggest tablet produced by Apple. It is rumored to sport four speakers, which will be situated on the corners of the device.
