Some of Tomlinson's followers commented on his Instagram photo that they were saddened by the turn of events, while others still found the news far-fetched. Fans were taken aback by the pregnancy news, knowing fully well that Tomlinson just started dating Jungwirth in April, a few weeks after calling it quits with his girlfriend of four years, Eleanor Calder.

Jungwirth was recently spotted in Los Angeles dressed in casual attire to run some errands. It was her first time to step out publicly since news of her pregnancy broke out. Her dad Joe Jungwirth and stepmom Karen Lawrence were among those who have expressed apprehension over savage attacks that may continue to come from internet trolls, the Daily Mail reported.

Other than that, all seems well in the homefront. The families involved have discussed plans in connection with the coming baby. The 23-year-old British pop star and the mother of his future child, also 23, met with their parents during the Independence Day holiday.

Tomlinson has began scouting around for a new house in the Los Angeles district where Briana dwells, People reported. Currently, he is busy with the One Direction tour, which has headed to Canada and will eventually go to Australia, Japan and other countries in South East Asia.

The 1D member has remained single and seems happy and excited about being a father soon. While the paternity news has shocked his fans, Tomlinson and Jungwirth's families hope the issue will blow over in due time.
