It is yet to be known, what is the connection between Amara and the just-released Darkness, which was released in the finale of "Supernatural" Season 10.

The Darkness is said to be a pre-biblical evil that was defeated by God and the archangels, which was locked by Mark of Cain. It was more like a tale of "Angel bedtime stories," which the angels believed to be a myth.

Executive producer Jeremy Carver teased at the comic con that the Winchester brothers, who will be united like when they were united to find John Winchester, and will be relying on other people including some from their past to fight the big bad, Zap2it reported.

Rumor has it that Castiel (Misha Collins) will also join hands with the brothers to fight "The Darkness," but at the end of last season, Rowena cast a spell on Castiel to kill Crowley.

Collins revealed that the spell will last a while and have a profound impact on him. "He's not himself to say the least," he said, adding that the Winchester brothers will have to deal with the big bad without him.

The "Supernatural" Season 11 will reportedly see not just the Winchester brothers trying to figure out what "The Darkness" is, but also angels and demons, who want to discover the power of the big bad.
