On the other hand, a Bulls selection could be composed of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Derrick Rose, Dennis Rodman and Horace Grant.

O'Neal commented on the hypothetical matchup in Instagram by saying that his Lakers could beat the Bulls by as much as 50 points.

But Pippen didn't take O'Neal's comments kindly and said he didn't believe in hypotheticals while noting that as O'Neal won three rings in his stint with the Lakers, Pippen's Bulls won six championships from 1991 to 1993 and 1996 to 1998.

The exchange heated up with O'Neal saying that Steve Kerr and Ron Harper, who were only part of the Bulls last three championship teams, deserved more credit than Pippen.

Pippen then took a shot at O'Neal's poor free throw shooting.

Thing got nastier as both players claimed that each other were sidekicks of better players in the team.

O'Neal went on to post a video of Bryant using a cross over to drive past Pippen, who was then playing for the Blazers, before passing an alley-oop to O'Neal for a dunk.

He commented that the situation occurred because Pippen didn't have Jordan to back him up during his Blazer days.

Many joined the Instagram exchange and the common perception was that the Bulls, who were great only during the Jordan era of the 90s, wouldn't have enough ammunition to compete with their Lakers counterparts.

Aside from the aforementioned starting five players for each team, the Lakers could summon Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, James Worthy, Gail Goodrich, Michael Cooper, Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum.

On the other hand, the Bulls can only counter with the likes Luc Longley, John Paxon, Bill Cartwright, Toni Kukoc, B.J. Armstrong, Harper and Kerr.

Nonetheless, many agree that no one can rule out any team with Jordan in it.
