"Divergent: Allegiant" stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley sparked dating rumors ever since the first film in the franchise came out. James' girlfriend Ruth Kearney is allegedly not at all happy with their onscreen romance. She was reportedly worried that James and Woodley's relationship could lead to something more.
According to Realty Today, fans of James and Kearney are blaming Woodley for the alleged break up. They claim that James has developed feelings for his co-star in the course of filming the "Divergent" franchise. The 30-year-old actor has always been vocal about his admiration for Woodley which caused many fans to speculate that the two are having an affair behind Kearney's back.
James said that she and Woodley had an instant connection, which helped filming intimate scenes a lot easier. The actor also praised his partner's acting skills and said that he watched her evolve into a more serious actress while shooting the franchise. When asked if he would want to work with Woodley again in the future, James shared that he was looking forward to it. James added that Woodley inspired him to be better in his craft.
Meanwhile, Fashion & Style reported that the cast of "Divergent: Allegiant Part 1" has already started shooting in Atlanta early this week. Several photos of Woodley (Tris) and James (Four) have also circulated online. The publication speculated that, judging by the leaked photos, Tris and Four will have a heated argument. It was said that the next film based on Veronica Roth's novel will be full of drama, action and romance.
