Meanwhile, Gibson added that, other than the fact that more black actors should be casted in superhero films today, he believes that his fans deserve to see him wear the green suit of the famous character.

In a separate interview with Entertainment Tonight, Gibson once again said that he cannot reveal a lot of details about his involvement on "Justice League Part One." However, if he will officially be cast as Green Lantern, his fans are to blame because they are the ones who have been rooting for him nonstop.

Just recently, some of Gibson's supporters also created a series of fan arts that featured the actor wearing the famous costume of Green Lantern.

In other news, some characters from the "Justice League" comic books will not be featured in the upcoming film. This will include Obsidian, Elongated Man, Triumph, Icemaiden, Gypsy, General Glory, The Atom, Tasmanian Devil, Super-Chief, Bulleteer, Blue Devil, Plastic Man, Ambush Bug and Captain Atom.

The film will feature Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jason Mamoa as Aquaman. The film will be released sometime in 2017.
