Spider-Man will not be dancing in Jon Watt's "Spider-Man" film remake.

Film writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein are on board to pen the script of the upcoming film. In their interview with USA Today Life at the premiere of their new film "Vacation" on July 27, Daley said that they are avoiding the emo dance, suggesting that Tom Holland's Spider-Man will be not executing the same moves as what Tobey Maguire did in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man 3" in 2007.

In Raimi's "Spider-Man 3," Peter Parker became a dancer after he used the alien symbiote, in addition to the boost in his powers and becoming more aggressive. According to Cinema Blend, Parker's most remarkable scene in Raimi's film was when he danced in front of his date Gwen Stacey at a jazz club, in which he intended to brag in front of his ex-girlfriend Mary Jane Watson.

With Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealing that Watts' "Spider-Man" reboot will not be an origin story, Goldstein also told USA Today Life that they got enough time to see the iconic superhero develop his powers, which are estranging. The writer's statement implies that the film will showcase a young Spider-Man who finds trouble coping with his powers, which separates him from others.

Goldstein and Daley also revealed previously that the Spider-Man will be presented as a cunning and comical character, despite of being a geek and an outcast. With James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy" and Peyton Reed's "Ant-Man" having made an appeal to fans, it has been assumed that Watt's "Spider-Man" is next in line to emerge as Marvel's funniest film.

"The Impossible" actor Holland is playing the role of the iconic Spider-Man while "The Wrestler" actress Marisa Tomei is playing the role of Aunt May. Production is commencing next year and additional characters, as well as exact plot details, have yet to be revealed.

Watts' "Spider-Man" film is slated to premiere in the big screen on July 28, 2017.
