“Pitch Perfect 3” stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow confirmed that they will be returning for the next installment of the franchise. The latest plot rumors indicate that the third film may focus on Beca’s (Kendrick) coaching career and Fat Amy’s (Wilson) love life.
According to MTV, Beca may be returning to Barden University after graduation to coach the Bellas. She will reportedly train the new members as they prepare for their next a cappella competition.
The publication also hinted that Beca, Fat Amy, Chloe and the rest of the former Bellas will form an a cappella group of their own after college. It was said that the third film may follow the group as they compete across the globe.
Meanwhile, it has also been speculated that "Pitch Perfect 3" is going to focus on Fat Amy. According to Vine Report, the third movie may provide viewers a deeper look into her life before she joined the Barden Bellas. Wilson was reportedly on board, saying that she would definitely want to explore her character better.
In the sequel, Fat Amy and Bumper (Adam DeVine) rekindled their relationship to the delight of fans. Producer Max Handelman said that both actors have such a natural and organic chemistry, which cannot be denied.
Although it is still unclear if the couple will stay together after college, many wanted to see them beat the odds and stay together until the end. In the third movie, fans may get to see the couple walk down the aisle with The Treblemakers and Barden Bellas in the entourage.
