Three new exclusive photos of Henry Cavill's Superman, Ben Affleck's Batman, and Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor have been released for Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and they are in character.
The new "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" photos are released by Empire Online and are included in the September issue of the magazine.
The first image shows Superman. The Man of Steel is standing inside the burnt structure Wayne Manor, giving color to the black and white background of the said ruins. According to Bam! Smack! Pow!, the superhero is possibly there as he is in search for his major adversary in Snyder's film, Batman.
Batman is the prime focus of the second photo. The shot shows the Dark Knight in his metallic and sturdy-looking Bat armor, standing under the rain and looking at the sky, presumably looking at Superman. This is already known to the fans as the previous "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailers have already shown this sequence.
The third and last photo shows Luthor. In the picture, Luthor is standing at the basketball court inside the LexCorp Industries gymnasium. Eisenberg looks stylish in his white coat on top of white shirt, blue pants, along with his light-colored sneakers, giving his character a younger look than the previous incarnations.
Aside from Cavill, Affleck, and Eisenberg, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg, among others. Tyrese Gibson is reported to play the role of Green Lantern, but this has yet to be confirmed.
Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to hit theaters in United States on March 25, 2016.
