“The Witcher Role-Playing Game will allow tabletop RPG fans to re-create an array of characters known from the Witcher universe and live out entirely new adventures set within the world of Geralt of Rivia,” community lead & website coordinator Marcin Momot wrote on the official forum.

This is not the first instance that CD Projekt Red partners with R.Talsorian Games, as both the developers have a history of creating the most successful “Cyberpunk 2020” tabletop game. “The Witcher” Role Playing game will also be powered by Fuzion ruleset that was used in “Cyberpunk 2020,” VG24/7 reported.

The upcoming game will pack a myriad of spells, rituals, and curses, along with most of the items and favorite gears from the entire “Witcher” series. Players will get to face devilish monsters in their adventures, and become anything from a merchant kingpin with control over a large network of contacts to battle-hardened monster slayer. The new system will provide all the necessary tools for the players to create custom adventures and play in it.

In other news, CD Projekt Red has revealed the last DLC, out of the total 16 promised DLC to be a a New Game+ Mode, which is expected to be rolled out soon. The developer is also working on “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” Patch 1.08 that will more likely be rolled out alongside the DLC.

Besides, two new expansions for the game, “Hearts of Stone” and “Blood and Wine,” are also reportedly in the works, for a launch in October and 2016 respectively.
