According to the list, Zane will be playing the role of Adrian Toomes, also known as The Vulture. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Toomes was a former engineer who was betrayed by his business partner Gregory Bestman. Driven by anger, he used his invention that gave him superhuman strength in doing crimes, adapting the identity of Vulture.

Vulture was initially set to appear as the primary antagonist in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man 4," which did not push through, as per Cinema Blend.

Aside from James Cameron's romance-drama blockbuster film "Titanic," Zane is also known for his roles in Simon Wincer's action-adventure "The Phantom," Robert Zemeckis' sci-fi adventure film "Back to the Future," and Riz Story's musical drama "A Winter Rose." He is also set to appear in Ben Stiller's comedy film "Zoolander 2" and in Nathaniel Kramer's mystery-thriller "House in the Hamptons."

Biggs, on the other hand, is playing the role of Mac Gargan, also known as Scorpion, according to the casting post in Latino-Review. Also created by Lee and Ditko, Gargan was a private investigator who was hired by Jonah Jameson to figure out how Peter Parker was able to take photos of Spider-Man.

With Parker able to evade Gargan, the latter was hired by Jameson to become a subject on an experiment that uses some traits of a specific animal. A scorpion was used in the process, giving Gargan superhuman abilities, which are capable of defeating the web-slinger.

Aside from the romantic comedy 1999 film "American Pie," Biggs is also known for his roles in Jenji Kohan's crime comedy series "Orange Is the New Black" and in Cody Heller and Brett Konner's comedy series "Deadbeat." He is set to appear in Lisa Addario and Joe Syracuse's comedy film "Drive, She Said."

If these are confirmed as true, both villains are reported to have animal-inspired mechanical suits.

Tom Holland is playing the role of the iconic superhero. Watts is set to helm the film while John Francis Dailey and Jonathan M. Goldstein are on board to pen the script of the upcoming superhero film. The writers previously revealed that their version of Spider-Man will be cunning and entertaining, despite of the character being a bore and a loner.

Watts' "Spider-Man" film is slated to premiere on July 28, 2017.
