The first "Mission: Impossible" franchise premiered Friday in the United States. Christopher McQuarrie, the "Mission: Impossible 6" director said that this movie permitted him to choose and pick what he thinks was best from the previous franchises and allowed the whole story to unveil the way it did, Screen Rant reported.

Another movie in Cruise's to-do list is the "Edge of Tomorrow 2." During the premiere of "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" Katie Holmes ex-husband revealed that he already knew what the sequel will be about and has even pitched it to Doug Liman and McQuarrie, the first franchise of the "Edge of Tomorrow "directors.

The "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" main actor also expressed enthusiasm over the idea of getting back to fighter jets scenes and even added that CGI will not be used, instead, practical effects only, according to Reuters. This report has noted the actor's aggressiveness to perform all stunts by himself.

Cruise's most talked about stunt in the "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" was when he was hanging onto the plane's wing during take off.
