The highly anticipated “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.08 release will more likely happen next week, possibly with the last DLC “New Game+” as the developer CD Projekt Red has revealed the change log for the update.

“The next patch will be arriving quite soon,” Community lead Marcin Momot wrote in the official forum with the list of changes in patch 1.08. The upcoming patch will address all the issues caused by the previous patch 1.07, along with overall improvement to the game’s performance.

The patch 1.08 update will fix the issues in gameplay like, Geralt getting stuck when trying to run, players unable to compare their items with the merchants’ goods, items disappearing from stash, glitch in one of the dwarf combat animations.

“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” update also brings a new Wolven Hour potion that will be available for players in the inventory, once the patch is installed. The new potion is to help the players stuck with unusable gear after the patch 1.07, in which the level requirements for certain items were increased. With the potion, players will have all the gears’ level requirements reduce for a period of one hour, within which they can level up or find alternative equipment. The gears’ requirements will revert back to pre-portion values, after one hour, IGN reported.

In terms of the bugs in quest, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.08 will resolve the issues with players unable to finish certain quests like “It Takes Three to Tango,” “Get Junior,” “Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear” and “Hey, You Wanna Look at my Stuff.” The problem with players unable to have a conversation with Roche in the “An Eye for an Eye” and the “Brothers in Arms” quests have also been resolved.

With the new update, Geralt will no longer die in the “Something Ends, Something Begins” quest after traveling to Velen. Glitch causing problems with the Card Collector achievement his also been fixed.

Besides these bug fixes, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.08 release also paves the way for the “New Game+” DLC, with preparatory features. The last DLC out of the 16 DLCs is expected to be rolled out next week, along with the patch 1.08. As of now, there is no specific date for the DLC or patch 1.08 release.
