Dr. Dre further informed that he felt so much inspired after watching the biopic that he started compiling and recording the album right away. The 50-year-old rapper candidly called his upcoming album as his "grand finale and admitted to keeping it kept under wraps until now. The album will be out one week prior to the release of the biopic, which will cover the story of the rise of hip-hop group NWA, which made him the star he is today.

Dr. Dre also announced that his hotly anticipated album "Detox" has been scrapped off and will not be released anytime sooner. His last release, "The Chronic 2001," was highly successful and had been certified six times platinum.

The six-time Grammy award winner was focusing more on production work which made him not able to release more album. As one of the industry's most successful businessmen, he was named the second richest figure in the American hip hop scene, owing to his other music related business venues like Beats By Dre line of headphones which he later sold off to Apple for over $3 billion, Forbes reported.
