According to his latest post on Not A Blog, Martin shared that he is going to New York and New Jersey. What caught the fans interest, however, is when he mentioned that his army of minions will be "toiling in the paper mines" while he is away.

Rumors began to circulate online that Martin is done writing the book and his team has already started the printing process. They perceived that the author was referring to publishing houses when he wrote "paper mines."

"The Winds of Winter" is allegedly going to be released later this year, much earlier than expected. Fans of the series were both surprised and delighted by the news given that they are waiting for the book for such a long time. Those who closely follow the HBO series are also waiting with bated breath to find out what will happen on "Game of Thrones" season 6.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Martin revealed that he has cancelled numerous interviews and trips just so he will be able to finish the sixth book in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series. When he posted that he will be flying to New York and New Jersey, many fans cannot help but speculate that this could only mean that he is done writing "The Winds of Winter."
