A major character has been rumored to die in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War".
T'Chaka is the father of T'Challa, also known as Black Panther, and the king of Wakanda. Wakanda is an African island that is rich in the mineral called vibranium, which is known to be the prime component of Captain America's shield and Utron's armored body. While the Wakandan ruler is set to pass away in the Russos' film, how he will die his still unknown, as per Heroic Hollywood.
In the comics, T'Chaka also served as Black Panther, keeping the old ways of the African island amidst of modernization. It was also revealed that Wakanda's leader was killed by Ulysses Klaw, which resulted to T'Chaka's brother S'yan to sit in the throne until T'Challa reached the proper age as ruler.
Black Panther will be first introduced to Marvel's Cinematic Universe through the Russos' upcoming film. According to Cinema Blend, Andy Serkis, who played the role of Ulysses Klaw in Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron," has not been cast in "Captain America: Civil War." This paints that the one who will kill T'Chaka in the film is still unknown.
"Captain America: Civil War" features the superhero registration act, which was set by the government following an appalling incident caused by super powered beings. The act forces superheroes, including the Avengers to make their identities known to the government and to the public. This builds a clash between and Iron Man, who agrees with the law, Captain America, who is not in favor with the law.
It was reported that Captain America's team will include Hawkeye, Falcon, Black Widow, and Scarlet Witch while Iron Man's team includes Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Vision, and War Machine.
Directed by the Russos, "Captain America: Civil War" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016.
