“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.08 will be followed by the New Game+ plus DLC that is expected to be released next week, as the patch update brings the preparatory features for the game to receive the DLC.

Patch 1.08 resolves all the problems caused by the previous patch 1.07, which was the biggest update for the game yet. However, there are certain bugs, which Momot has confirmed will be addressed in the future patches.

The update brings along fixes for a number of bugs including the one that made it impossible for the players to complete a few quests. “The Witcher 3” patch 1.08 will add a new Wolven Hour Potion that will reduce the gear’s level requirements for a particular period of one hour, to help players stuck with unusable gear after patch 1.07 update.

The new update will also allow players to roll before landing that will reduce the damage caused, according to Patch 1.08 changelog, on the official forum.

Glitch causing Geralt’s death after traveling to Velen, in “Something Ends, Something Begins” quest, problem with entrance area getting blocked during the “Sunstone” quest and the issue with Card Collector achievement, have also been resolved.

Following “The Witcher 3” patch 1.08 release, the developer is expected to roll out the New Game+ DLC possibly by early next week, which is the final DLC among the promised 16 DLCs released every week.
