Almost two years after Michael Schumacher's ski accident but his condition is still unstable raising concern from racing world community.
While the Formula 1 racer's recovery is making considerable progress, Ferrari continues to show support for Schumacher. According to Express, Former Ferrari Boss Luca De Montezemolo dedicated his Automotive "Hall of Fame" induction to Michael Schumacher - who is trying to fight hard during this hardest moment - as a way of his support for the F1 racer.
Montezemolo said, "I don't know if I would have gotten this prize without Schumacher. It is dedicated to him because he is fighting hard to win his toughest race."
In his speech at the award event in Detroit, the former Ferrari president expressed that Michael Schumacher's condition is very sad.
"He was not just someone I worked with, but most importantly Schumacher was a friend with whom I shared a lot. It is very hard to see that he now lies in bed for such a long period."
In the history of Formula 1, Michael Schumacher is one of the most celebrated drivers, Inquistr reported. He has also driven for many teams including Jordan, Benetton, Ferrari, and Mercedes.
The report unveiled that Schumacher has attained the highest number of championships, race wins in a single season, pole positions, and fastest laps among other titles. All of his successes were noted in the reign of Luca De Montezemolo.
On December 2013, just a year after his retirement, the world renowned champion sustained many head injuries in a tragic skiing accident. He accidentally hit his head on a large rock while skiing in the French Alps. The seven-time champion was hospitalized and has been put into a medically induced coma for four months.
Currently, Schumacher is at his Swiss home at Lake Geneva since September 2014 where he undergoes home care at a weekly cost of $150,000. His manager Sabine Kehm says that Schumacher's condition has been gradually improving.
