"The Big Bang Theory" star Mayim Bailik recently unveiled some plot spoilers fro the upcoming ninth season of the hit CBS series.
Bialik wrote on her blog Kveller that Amy and Sheldon will deal with the issue they faced during last season's finale episode. At that time, Sheldon was supposed to propose to Amy, but the latter ended their relationship before he could so.
The actress also added that Penny and Leonard will continue their journey to Las Vegas to get married. However, Bialik did not exactly say whether or not the wedding will really push through.
Meanwhile, Bialik also responded to fans who have been asking her whether or not she will return to season 9 as a regular cast member. According to her, Amy will be beck and her need to have a time off from Sheldon does not mean that she will not appear on the show.
Bialik also revealed that the premiere episode for the season, which will kick off just hours after season 8 ended, will be a very funny episode. This is because the episode will have a lot of group and one-on-one scenes as well.
In other news, showrunner Steve Molaro previously spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about Amy and Sheldon. According to him, there is a chance that the two will get back together because Amy is very much fond of Sheldon. This does not mean though that Amy could not entertain other prospects because that is also very possible.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 will premiere on CBS on Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. ET.
