It was a superstar packed Monday for WWE Raw with some of the biggest wrestling names, returning stars and even TV personalities making their presence felt in the WWE ring. We've got a lowdown on the highlights of last night's episode.
John Cena is back...well, at least his photo was. The Champ was still a no show, amid speculations that he will be returning to the Raw this Monday. While he continues recovery, Seth Rollins - the man who gave Cena his broken nose - continued to enjoy his absence.
However, the fun was cut short when Cesaro made his entrance, challenging Rollins for a title match. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton also wanted the same thing. So, making it official, Triple H announced that Rollins will be defending his title against the winner of a Triple Threat match between Orton, Cesaro and Owens, WWE.com noted.
The show continued with Team B.A.D. vs Team Bella, wherein the Bellas win the match.
A Tag Team match follows between Los Matadores and The New Day. Big E and Kofi Kingston defeated Diego and Fernando. However, an update have turned smiles upside down:
"They and Xavier Woods found their positivity ever so slightly stilted when they found they'd be facing Los Matadores, The Lucha Dragons and The Prime Time Players in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Title Match at SummerSlam," WWE.com revealed.
Orton, Cesaro and Owens' Triple Threat match ended with Orton hitting both men with an RKO for the win.
Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper also faced off, with Harper winning the match.
Finally, "Arrow" star Stephen Amell and Stardust go face-to-face, although a possible fight in the ring was halted after WWE superstars stopped any brawl from pushing through.
However, before the night ended, Amell requested for a match against Stardust. Triple H agrees.
As to when the two will face off in the ring has yet to be confirmed.
