Sources told Heroic Hollywood that an incident of global scale would involve Captain America and Scarlet Witch as they make an attempt to take Crossbones into custody.

Captain America ordered Scarlet Witch to drift Crossbones in the air, since the villain was wearing a perilous vest with explosives, not to mention that there were civilians around. Scarlet Witch was not able to hold the ensuing explosions, leading to major casualties and massive damage.

The details presented by Heroic Hollywood's sources deviate from the plot in the "Civil War" comics. In the comics, the New Warriors were trying to detain some supervillains, which resulted to the loss of lives of a number of innocent civilians. As a further result, the government released the superhero registration act.

A public repercussion is gradually building in previous Marvel films, such as Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and Peyton Reed's "Ant-Man," according to Cinema Blend. This counter attack is evident with a newspaper headline saying "Who's to blame for Sokovia?" and the battle between Iron Man and Hulk in "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

As per Cinema Blend, the events prior to the Russo's "Captain America: Civil War" is going to end up with the Sokovia Accords. A fictitious Eastern European country, Sokovia's city is set to drift up and be destroyed.

"Captain America: Civil War" features a clash between two separate teams. Captain America, who is not in favor of the superhero registration act, leads Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, and Scarlet Witch. On the other hand, Iron Man who agrees with the act, is joined by Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Vision, and War Machine.

Directed by the Russos, "Captain America: Civil War" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016.
