"Dance Moms" star Chloe Lukasiak opened up about her rivalry with fellow cast member Maddie Ziegler. The two have always been pitted against each other in the Lifetime series up until the former decided to leave last fall. And now, the competition between Lukasiak and Ziegler's will once again start as they both were nominated in the 2015 Teen Choice Awards for the Choice Dancer competition.
In an interview with Viva Glam magazine, Lukasiak shared that she was not worried that they were both nominated under the same category, adding that she is happy for Ziegler. The 14-year-old also thanked her "Dance Moms" fans for always supporting her. She said that since she got nominated for the Teen Choice Awards, they kept on voting for her and even defending her on social media if need be.
Lukasiak also revealed that since she has been in several competitions before, she does not feel the pressure just as much. Currently, she mentioned that she is busy doing music videos, taking classes and performing.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Lukasiak also said that going up against Ziegler again was not really a big deal. She added that it was not surprising given that they have competed against each other time and again on "Dance Moms." The reality star added that she considers Ziegler her "biggest rival" in the competition world.
When asked if Lukasiak kept in touch with her friends after she left the Lifetime reality series, she said that it was difficult to get together because of their hectic schedule. She said that the cast were always travelling which made harder to communicate.
