The "Street Fighter V" beta for the PS4 has been met with a couple of issues that prevented a number of players from enjoying the latest title from Capcom. Now it appears that the beta is partially back online, with new updates from the developer on what will happening in the couple of weeks ahead.

Last July, the beta was launched on the PS4 accompanied with a number of issues, which were serious enough to force the developer to cancel due to users being unable to play in a number of matches online. To date, there have been no official announcements of the beta being back online permanently though some reports do point to intermittent connections online to beta.

But Capcom announced via its official Twitter that it is currently conducting an internal stress test on the servers for "Street Fighter V" as preparation towards a faster re-launch of the beta program, Dual Shockers reported. Alongside this, the patch 1.02 has also been released for PS4 players of "Street Fighter V." What this brings is a better login process as well as optimized matchmaking logic.

The instances wherein players were able to connect to the most recent beta program have reported that there are only four fighters that are playable, meaning the other two, Cammy and Birdie, that were added later on are not yet part of the playable roster.

More news about the beta program are expected as Capcom continues to improve on the "Street Fighter V" servers. In the meantime, Sony has announced some new details for the PlayStation Experience happening on Dec. 5 and 6. While the event is still a good four months away, it does have something in store for "Street Fighter" fans, PlayStation Blog reported.

For those who can attend, the Capcom Cup will take place on the second day of the event. The Capcom Cup will pit 32 players who belong to the top tier so one of them can claim the title 'Street Fighter World Champion" and a share of the $250,000 prize pool.
