MacBook Air and Pro 2016 release is rumored to be pushed back early in 2016 and will be launched alongside Apple TV service and iMac.

Bloomberg cited unnamed sources from Apple saying that while the tech giant wants to debut the live TV service delivered via the Internet later this year, the company is now aiming to unveil the service early next year.

On the other hand, it was previously purported that MacBook Air and Pro 2016 will be announced in October alongside the new generation of iPad Mini and the new iPad Pro. However, Apple wants to shine the spotlight the most on the new iPad Pro that is why it is pushing the MacBook Air and Pro 2016 release at a later date as the new MacBooks will cannibalize the iPad Pro sales.

Aside from MacBook Air and Pro 2016, Apple will also reportedly let go iPad Air 3. According Taiwanese publication Economic Daily, there will be no iPad Air 3 this year in order to focus on the 12.9-inch "iPad Pro", and to remove some pressure on Foxconn, Apple's main manufacturing partner, which is working on Apple's iPhone as well.

In line with the priorities of Apple, MacBook Air and Pro 2016 release may happen at the next Apple event or major launch. The release date window early next year is still open and it lacks major devices for Apple to show off. Thus, it is a perfect opportunity for the tech company to introduce the new laptops.

Meanwhile, some of the rumored specs and features of MacBook Air and Pro 2016 are 11-inch and 13-inch screen displays, Intel Skylake processor, OS X El Capitan, Force Touch technology, Type-C USB port and longer battery life.

There is no official word from Apple yet about the aforementioned rumors.
