The Surface Pro 4 will not feature Intel Core M chips and it will feature a bigger display, according to the tweets from the Verge senior editor Tom Warren. It is expected that the upcoming device will be lighter and slimmer than the Surface Pro 3.

However, according to earlier rumors, the form factor of the upcoming laplet will be very similar to that of the Surface Pro 3. Also, it is expected that the Surface Pro 4 will support the Surface Pro 3 docking station.

Furthermore, rumors are doing the rounds that the new device will be powered by the advanced Skylake chips. The Skylake chip is exceptionally power efficient and will be able to deliver longer battery life than what the SP3 is able to offer.

According to recent reports, the laplet may not feature the USB Type-C connector. Instead, it may feature USB 3.1 and USB 3.0 ports.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 may launch on October 4, Design & Trend reported. It is likely that the upcoming tablet will come preinstalled with Windows 10.

Reports also suggest that the Surface Pro 4 may come in display variants of 14 inches and 12 inches. The upcoming tablet will have 16 GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
