The social media challenge who makes more money between unbeaten American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and unbeaten UFC Women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has not ended.

Ronda fanned the flames further by claiming she makes more money per second than Mayweather, reports LA Times. However, she did not provide exact figures to back her claim.

The argument started when Mayweather said he did not know who Ronda is after she said that in a no-rules fight, she would win over Mayweather. The boxer then replied that before Ronda makes such a claim, she should first be within his earning circle, citing that for his May 2 bout versus Filipino champ Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather earned a total of $300 million for 36 minutes of bout.

That boils down to $138,888.89 per second. Ronda, who was named eight highest paid female athlete recently by Forbes, is estimated to have earned a total of $6.5 million the past 12 months from June 2014 through June 2015. Fight purses were placed at $3 million and endorsements at $3.5 million.

During that 12 months, she had two bouts, according to ESPN. On July 5, 2014, she won over Alexis Davis in 16 seconds and on Feb 28, 2015, she defeated Cat Zingano in 14 seconds. That totals 30 seconds. With her total income of $6.5 million and taking only 30 seconds to defeat the two foes, it shows Ronda earned almost $217,000 per second.

Based on those figures, which are not confirmed, Ronda appears to be telling the truth.

However, more than just the money aspect, Ronda hit Mayweather anew in another area he has been criticized not only by boxers but also broadcasters in being not so literate based on his difficulty in reading lines.

Ronda's latest salvo is this line that MMAFighting.com quotes: "I think I actually make two to three times more than he does per second. So when he learns to read and write, he can text me."
