"Arrow" executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently revealed the role Roy Harper will play in the upcoming fourth season of The CW series.

In an interview with Green Arrow TV, Guggenheim said that Roy will take on a different identity because everyone thought he is the Arrow and that he is already dead.

This is obviously not the cast and Oliver Queen or The Arrow would not want all of his efforts and sacrifices to go to waste.

Meanwhile, according to lead star Stephen Amell, "Arrow" season 4 will have a much lighter tone compared to the first three seasons.

Amell said that this shift in tone will be possible because Oliver's Arrow character is no longer regarded as a vigilante. Oliver/Arrow will also be regarded as a hero by everyone starting this season.

In other news, "Arrow" executive producer Wendy Mericle confirmed that Oliver and Diggle will have a difficult relationship during the first few episodes of season 4.

"We're gonna work that out. It's not gonna be easy. With what happened to Dig's family, it's really tough to buy that back, and Oliver is not gonna be able to," Mericle said.

Mericle said that fans should not worry because Dig and Oliver will eventually patch things up because they are such close friends. She added that while Oliver was away, Dig was the one who led the Arrow team.

Finally, Black Canary and Speedy are two of the characters that fans need to watch out for "Arrow" season 4, according to Melty.

"Arrow" season 4 will premiere on The CW this October.
