The fan-favorite former empress Jessica Lange will more likely be back in the “American Horror Story” soon, as for the first time co-creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed her return.

“I’ve been talking to her. It’s always possible. I’m trying to deal with her play schedule. Jessica is always about the character. She’ll be back—she’s not gone forever,” Murphy told Entertainment Weekly.

Lange, who has received two Emmys and a Golden Globe for her performance in the “AHS,” has appeared in the first four seasons. Earlier this year, the actress said that she was done with the show, and that “Freak Show” was her last run, Huffington Post reported.

Now it seems that the actress wishes to be back in the show as Murphy added that “She wants to come back we just have to come up with something.”

With Murphy confirming that her return is possible, fans are looking forward to a cameo appearance in the upcoming “American Horror Story: Hotel,” as Lange will likely be busy with her Broadway production “Long Day’s Journey Into Night.”

Meanwhile, there is a possibility of the actress reprising her role as Constance Langdon in the all new season, as Murphy has previously confirmed that fans will get to revisit the Season 1’s Murder House, which was Langdon’s former home.

Back in March, reports surfaced about Lange’s return that she will be in the “American Horror Story: Hotel” premiere episode as well as the final episodes, playing the role of an older Countess, which is highly unlikely. Nevertheless, fans will have to wait and watch to know how Lange will be back in the show.

In other news, the show producers are mulling over the idea of developing two “AHS” seasons for 2016, to be premiered in the fall and spring.

“The next thing we’re crafting up is very, very different than this. Not smaller. But just not opulent. More rogue and more dark,” Murphy told Entertainment Weekly, adding that the team is yet to decide on it.

The “American Horror Story: Hotel” is all set to premiere on Oct. 7.
