Game developer CD Projekt Red is reportedly working on the next “Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” hotfix that will not only resolve the steam achievements issue and Skelliege’s Most Wanted quest problem, but also address the frame-rate drop issue in PlayStation 4.

“PS4 performance has been improving with each patch and the upcoming one should be addressing this topic as well,” Community lead Marcin Momot confirmed in his response to a fan in the official forum.

Some fans have been facing frame-rate drop issue since the launch of the game, which was supposed to be fixed in “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.07. However, the said patch has only increased the problem and also affected the Xbox One version of the game. While the issue is said to have been fixed in the patch 1.08, some players still face problems.

Momot, along with this confirmation, has also teased the fans about the upcoming expansions. He has promised fans that the developer will be revealing information about the first expansion “Hearts of Stone,” which has a great plot with excellent twists. He also added that the expansions will have new achievements and trophies in addition, Dual Shockers reported.

As of now, there has been no other official word related to “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” hotfix as well as the “Hearts of Stone” expansion, apart from the artworks released late last week.

CD Projekt Red is expected to release the upcoming hotfix by the end of this week, while the first expansion “Hearts of Stone” is slated for a release in October.
