In "Daredevil" season 1, fans were left wondering what will happen between Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) after they remained close friends in the entire season. The main question was whether the two will ever become lovers.

However, in recent Twitter photo leakages from Thomas Rix, the two characters are holding hands, a point of a developing romantic relationship. The photo depicts Cox's character in a black suit and seems to be out on a romantic walk with Woll's.

However, the relationship between the two love birds will face hurdles with the confirmed arrival of Elektra (Elodie Yung) in "Daredevil" season 2, according to International Business TimesIn season 1 that premiered in April this year, fans were intrigued by the role played by the blind vigilante.

"Daredevil" season 2 will feature Elektra (Elodie Yung) as a love interest of the Daredevil. Elektra's aggressive personality and mercenary routine ultimately separates the two in the comics.

In an interview with IGN, Marvel's chief creative officerJoe Quesa talked about Yung's role as Elektra in "Daredevil" season 2. He said that he has a lot concerning Yung because the creative team scanned around the world to find the right Elektra and a female character with a man's personality.

"She looks like the character, she walks like the character, and then she has the martial arts training and stunt background that she can rely on," Quesada told the publication.

The creative officer teased that it will be interesting to see the new character take over the role and the way she embraces and personifies Elektra. Yung is a world-class actor that will bring something special to the series.

According to Quesada, they established "a really good tempo" with "Daredevil" season 1, "so fans can hopefully expect much more of the same."
