A gameplay of upcoming game No Man's Sky was shown during the 65DaysOfStatic Concert, which was held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Friday.

To make things more interesting, the gameplay footage was accompanied by the game's soundtrack as it was played live on stage. The video showed some clips of No Man's Sky's gameplay, although some folks thought that it was made up of 'recycled' pieces from previous trailers.

The 13 minutes of gameplay showed No Man's Sky's many strengths, one of which is the vast universe where it is set. During the E3 event earlier this year, developers claimed that there are 18 quintillion planets in the game, each having its own unique characteristics, landscapes, and inhabitants.

Hello Games, which is led by Sean Murray and is currently developing the game has committed to a release later this year, Design & Trend reported, although no official dates, updates, or announcements have been released.

However, Movie Pilot claims that No Man's Sky may be announced as late as next year, during the launch of virtual reality tech Project Morpheous in 2016.

If the game does get a release date or becomes official, reports showed that it would become available for PS4 consoles as well as PCs.

Meanwhile, other games that have similar concepts to No Man's Sky include Rodina, Starbound and Space Engineers, as listed by MMO Bomb, while another upcoming sandbox, bounty-hunting and space exploration game, White Space has been slated for an early 2016 release.
