"The Amazing Spider-Man" actor Andrew Garfield thinks that he did not succeed in playing the iconic friendly neighborhood superhero.

In his interview with Zaki's Corner, Garfield said that he thought he was going to be Spider-Man. But then, the actor later said that he did not make it in reality and he was not Spider-Man. The actor also compared himself to his character Peter Parker, saying that Parker never felt sufficient and he never felt the same. Garfield added that he never felt that he was able to do enough.

While Garfield said that he could not make his previous "Spider-Man" films bottomless, affecting, and "life-giving," he revealed that his character Spider-Man has always meant so much to him. For the actor, he identified the iconic web-slinger as an important character, especially at the San Diego Comic Convention.

Marvel Studios and Sony has agreed to have a "Spider-Man" reboot film, which centers on a highschool Spider-Man. This will allow the character to redeem himself in Marvel Cinematic Universe, as per Cinema Blend.

Tom Holland is set to be the person behind the iconic red and blue Spider-Man suit in Jon Watts' "Spider-Man" film. But prior to the film's release, the actor will debut in Marvel's Cinematic Universe as the iconic web-slinger in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War."

For now, Garfield will be next seen in Martin Scorsese's historical drama "Silence" and Mel Gibson's drama film "Hacksaw Ridge." On the other hand, fans will see Holland in Brendan Muldowney's adventure film "Pilgrimage," James Gray's action adventure "The Lost City of Z," Ron Howard's action adventure "In the Heart of the Sea," and Rob Connolly's thriller film "Backcountry."

Directed by the Russos, "Captain America: Civil War" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016 while Watts' "Spider-Man" is slated to hit theaters on July 28, 2017.
