Iron Man will be influential to Spider-Man in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's upcoming Marvel Comics film "Captain America: Civil War."

Sources told Latino Review that Iron Man will give Spider-Man web-shooters in the Russos' forthcoming film. Marvel's take on Spider-Man is a high school student, which means that Peter Parker only has contact to things a typical teenager could have while Tony Stark has access to advanced technology, as seen in previous "Iron Man" films.

In Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron," Stark expressed his desire to upgrade the look of the Avengers. This entails that the metal armored Avenger could also enhance the appearance of the iconic friendly neighborhood superhero. While it is indicative that Spider-Man and Iron Man would be in one team in "Captain America: Civil War," Spider-Man's team is yet to be confirmed.

Though Spider-Man receives the web-shooters from Iron Man, it is assumed that the superhero will be able to learn how to operate such technology, as per Cinema Blend. Eventually, this technology could also be used by the iconic web-slinger in his solo "Spider-Man" spin-off film, which is directed by Jon Watts.

"Captain America: Civil War" centers on the release of the superhero registration act or the "accords," which results a disband and clash between the Captain America, who is not in favor with the act, and Iron Man, who is in favor of the law.

Spider-Man is set to debut in Marvel's Cinematic Universe in "Captain America: Civil War," before Jon Watts' solo "Spider-Man" film. He is reported to join Iron Man's side, along with Hawkeye, Vision, and War Machine. Meanwhile, Ant-Man, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, and the Winter Soldier join Captain America's team.

Directed by the Russos, "Captain America: Civil War" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016 while Watts' "Spider-Man" is set to hit theaters on July 28, 2017.
