The much awaited "Criminal Minds" season 11 is all set to premiere this month, with the entire team dealing a "twisted" and "bizarre" case as the season opener. A new promo has been released teasing what the show has in store for the fans.

"This UnSub does some, obviously, weird stuff to his victims, which includes painting their faces," showrunner Erica Messer told the TV Line. "And then we learn why he's doing it, because he himself has a really hard-to-look-at face."

In the 30-second video, Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) says that someone has tipped the un-sub off and that there is mole in the team. The promo teases new recurring cast member a psychologist, Dr. Tara Lewis' (Aisha Tyler) entry, while fans get to see a masked figure injecting one of the victims and also painting the face of another victim.

The upcoming "Criminal Minds" season 11 premiere will see the BAU interviewing different candidates, including Dr Lewis, to fill in for JJ's (A.J. Cook) maternity leave. Dr Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) will reportedly have a dramatic and disturbing start this season and will get to do a Reid version of takedown in the premiere episode.

The entire team will be solving the case of a serial killer looking for revenge. According to the new promo, Dr Lewis will be the brand new mind, who will help solve the case. Tyler's character is said to have a unique skill set, different from the other cast members, to give a totally new dimension to the series, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Rumor has it that the new cast member, Dr Lewis will be Dr Reid's love interest, given that they will be working together. Messer has also previously hinted that the all-new "Criminal Minds" season 11 will be focusing on Dr Reid's romantic life.
