It seems that MacBook Pro 2016 release date will be on Sept. 9 joining the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus as discounts on the previous MacBook Pros were spotted online.
US electronics retailer Best Buy offers $150 discount on the different storages variants of 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro 2015. The MacBook Pro 2014 received overwhelming price cut from Adorama and B&H Photo. More importantly, the latter generously gives $600 off the 15-inch MacBook Pro 2014 2.5GHz/16GB/512GB.
Various models of MacBook Air and this year's Apple MacBook received discounts, which hinted that a revamped on the line is coming soon. Best Buy offers the lowest price to MacBook Air 2015 that slashes up to $150. The retailer also offers refurbished and open-box models of the said MacBook.
There is conflicting rumors regarding the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 release date whether it will join other rumored Apple devices on Sept. 9 event. There were whispers that MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 release was pushed back in 2016 to give way to iPad Pro. MacBook deals and discount could mean that Apple and retailers are exhausting the remaining stocks of MacBook devices.
On the other hand, some of the purported features of the MacBook Air 2016 are 13-inch and 15-inch screen displays, Intel Skylake-U chipset, OS X El Capitan, Type-C USB port, and an improved battery life. The laptops will most likely be equipped with Force Touch technology. The MacBook Air will be even thinner than last time.
Meanwhile, the MacBook Pro 2016 is also expected to pack almost the same specs and features, but with more powerful RAM.
However, Apple has not confirmed the aforementioned features.
