Director J.J. Abrams could not have fully unveiled everything about his upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," the film's musical score.

John Williams is set to score the upcoming intergalactic set sci-fi film and his music is the one that Abrams has not yet completely shown to fans until the film's release, according to Cinema Blend. Though fans have not heard all of Williams' magnificent orchestral scores for the upcoming film, the music in the earlier trailers should suffice at this point.

According to the Star Wars official website, fans may not pre-order Williams' new score for "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens;" however, the music collection will not be hitting physical and digital music stores until the release of the film. Since Williams has become a fan favorite, hearing and owning a copy of his music is vital to fans.

Williams is known to score George Lucas' "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace" way back 1999, along with Simon Kinberg' television series "Star Wars Rebels" an another upcoming television series "Star Wars: Underworld." He also made the music of some "Star Wars" video games, such as "Star Wars: The Old Republic" and "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed."

While fans enjoyed Williams' music in previous films, television series, and video games, the composer will not be the one to score Gareth Edward's "Star Wars: Rogue One," which stands as the first "Star Wars" spin-off film. Edward's film will be scored by Alexandre Desplat, who is also known for composing the music for Tom Hooper's "The King's Speech" and Morten Tyldum's "The Imitation Game."

Meanwhile, "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" is set 30 years after the events in the "Return of Jedi" and it showcases an ensemble of both old and new heroes and villains. The film stars Oscar Isaac, Simon Pegg, Daisy Ridley, Domhnall Gleeson, John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford, among others.

Williams' music score will follow the release of Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," which is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Dec. 18.
