"New Girl" season 5 cast member Lamorne Morris recently opened up about Zooey Deschanel's motherly instincts.
In an interview with People, Morris said that Deschanel will definitely become a good mother to her child because she is also like a mom to them on set.
"She's a great mom to us on set. She puts the hammer down on the craziness we do from time to time. She gives me advice on every aspect of my life. Family, finances... She's very smart. Very healthy. She'll teach her daughter how to eat right, that's for sure," she said.
Meanwhile, according to US Weekly, Deschanel was recently spotted with her daughter and husband. At that time, Deschanle was photographed wearing her huge wedding ring.
In other news, the upcoming "New Girl" season 5 will reportedly focus on the other characters on the show. This was a creative decision on the part of the executive producers in order to give Deschanel some time with her new born child.
"New Girl" season 5 will also focus on Schmidt and Cece's relationship. In season 4, the two were engaged and season 5 will see their union and marriage.
However, their relationship will be put to the test when Cece's mom suddenly appears ahead of their wedding day. According to Max Greenfield, there is a chance that Cece's mom will not approve of his character, Schmidt.
"New Girl" season 5 also stars Jake Johnson as Nick. The actor said that Jess and Nick will most likely remain friends in the upcoming installment.
"New Girl" season 5 will premiere on FOX sometime next year.
