Beyoncé was her usual sultry self, mouthing feminist phrases, and exciting the crowd at the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia. Clad in form-fitting sequined leotard and thigh-high red boots, Queen Bey proved that at 34, she still reigns supreme.

Though other newsmakers like Taylor Swift dominated a greater part of the year, Beyoncé showed that she can be an instant headliner in one epic show.

The multiple award-winning artist dazzled audiences by putting a new spin on her hit songs, beginning with a "Fifty-Shades of Grey"-inspired version of "Crazy in Love," Entertainment Tonight reported.

The voluptuous recipient of the 2015 BET Awards for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Video of the Year and Video Director of the Year also made headlines for interspersing her song numbers with inspiring lines on female empowerment. One that resounded well among many people was the statement of Mixed Martial Arts fighter Ronda Rousey that she was "not a do-nothing (chick)."

Apart from including Rousey's speech in her track, "Diva," Beyonce also played clips from Maya Angelou's poem "Phenomenal Woman."

"Anaconda" singer Nicki Minaj also joined Beyonce onstage.  Beyonce's better half Jay Z took part in singing and dancing, but it was the diva herself who brought the house down with her performance, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Beyoncé's live show in Philadelphia showed solidarity with the locals, and was lauded by fans as one of her best performances ever. One of the singer's Facebook followers wrote how "choreography was on point" and how Queen Bey displayed "amazing stage presence."
