"Captain America" actor Chris Evans would like to extend his contract with Marvel Studios in playing the first Avenger because his contact will end with the "Avengers: Infinity War 2." He also expressed how he was eager to play the role of "Captain America" since the beginning.

"Snowpiercer" actor Evans, the 34 - year old actor stated that he wanted to extend his six films contract with Marvel studios, Screen Rant reported. Evans also added that he had a great time working with the casts and crew, goofing around once in a while and being able to make such great movies.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" star Evans also revealed that his contract with Marvel is coming to a close after working in the two part installment of the "Avengers: Infinity War." It was earlier reported that Evans was given nine films contract but due to his reluctance, it was cut down to six.

Evans expressed his idea of becoming the first Avenger. He admitted that at first he did have doubts in playing the role as Steve Rogers aka Captain America. He added that, "It's so mind-boggling that I was so tentative in the beginning to jump on-board. What an a**hole I would be if I hadn't done this. I mean can you imagine? Kicking myself-I'd never forgive myself!" Collider reported.

"Captain America" was considered and dubbed as the first Avenger, which Evans brought to life in 2011 in the film "Captain America: The First Avenger." Evans is one of the main characters of the upcoming "Avengers" film.

"Avengers: The Infinity War 1" will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and to be produced by Marvel President Kevin Feige. There are speculations that Robert Downey Jr. will be returning to play "Iron Man" as well as Chris Hemsworth as "Thor."

"Avengers: The Infinity War 1" is set to be released on May 4, 2018.
