Apple's iPhone 6S is up for grabs over at T-Mobile and the cash damage will only amount to $20 per month or $24 if the preference is the bigger iPhone 6S Plus. In selling his company's new iPhone package, T-Mobile CEO John Legere teases: "There's no reason not to come to T-Mobile for your new iPhone."

And why not pick T-Mobile over the other providers to satisfy that iPhone 6S craving since the next best offer is around $27 a month, per CNN Money. Upfront, the new device to eventually bump off the millions-selling iPhone 6 will cost $650 for the 16GB edition and the tag only gets high as the storage configuration gets high, the highest being 128GB.

For the 5.5-inch iPhone 6S Plus, the asking price is $750. It makes sense to play along with T-Mobile's Jump On Demand deal, which The Verge clarifies is actually a leasing program - meaning subscribers don't really own the device after 18 months. Over the course of that period, the total cost of using the new iPhone 6S will be $524 but one must remember that prior to owning the 6S T-Mobile will demand $164.

Adding up, the 6S sold by Legere will have squeezed $684 from a user's pocket or a premium of $34 from Apple's retail pricing of $650. On top of the handset's cost, one also needs to pay for voice and data usage over the life of the agreement, which CNN said is $2 (per month) pricier from other service providers.

In the end, the savings and ease of owning the iPhone 6S seemed lost in the pitch being pushed by Legere.

And there's still one really important thing to consider - T-Mobile coverage is no question solid in most of the metro areas around the United States but it's a different story when one is mostly active in the suburbs. Outside the city limits, T-Mobile signal is relatively weak, CNN said.

Yet if the T-Mobile iPhone 6S lure is so tempting, jumping in is the sane thing to do. Legere's offer of refunds when unsatisfied plus the promise of covering the expenses of switching from a rival telco to T-Mobile, after all, are simply irresistible.

And it must be noted too that T-Mobile's Jump On Demand also includes the outright replacement of the iPhone 6S or 6S Plus, three times during the 12-month period.
